At Chalmers, we believe that we are disconnected from God apart from the grace of God through Jesus Christ. We encourage everyone to connect to God by accepting His love and forgiveness found only in Jesus, and to surrender your life to Him. This is the first step in the walk as a Christ follower.
We believe that as Christ followers, we remain connected with God through worship, prayer, and fellowship with other Christ followers.

Join us Sundays at 10:00am for a time of worship and celebration of who God is and what God has done and continues to do in our lives and in our world. Our worship service is an hour and fifteen minutes and includes singing, teaching from the bible, and a time of community prayer. Sunday School and Nursery are available during our service. After the service, you are invited to go downstairs for coffee and treats, or to stay in the Sanctuary for a time of reflection and prayer.

At Chalmers, we believe that prayer is incredibly important in our connection to God. In the same way that social media and text messages help us to keep in contact with friends and family, so prayer keeps us connected with God. As Christians, we can pray to God anytime, anywhere, with whatever words we have. At Chalmers, we encourage each other to take time in prayer each day. We also believe that we are called to pray together as a community. We do this at Chalmers in two ways: first, we take time during our Sunday Worship Service to pray with one another, and second, we meet in Growth Groups during the week to pray for personal concerns as well as to pray for the local community, our mission partners and any other issues that God brings to our mind.

Following Jesus was never supposed to be solitary or isolating. Jesus calls us to be the Church; different people with different personalities and backgrounds, working together for the Kingdom of God. The best way to be the Church is to learn to love each other and work together. At Chalmers we believe that we need to build healthy relationships with one another for support, encouragement and accountability. We build these relationships on Sunday mornings during and after our time of worship and celebration, as well as throughout the week in Growth Groups.
